I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida with a Master's in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. I work with couples, families, individuals, and adolescents — and the thread that runs through all of it is a commitment to walking with people through the transitions that reshape how they live, how they love, and how they understand themselves.
Couples work is where I feel most at home, and it's where I've invested the most energy as a clinician. The relationships that bring people into counseling are almost always the ones that matter most — and the distance that builds between two people is rarely about the thing they're arguing about on the surface. My approach is informed by emotionally focused therapy and Gottman research, and I use both as a lens for understanding what's really driving the disconnection and what it would take to repair it. I'm direct when directness is needed and patient when patience is what the room requires.
I also work with families navigating conflict, transition, and the difficult work of learning how to be honest with each other — and with individuals, particularly women, working through anxiety, depression, life transitions, and questions of identity and self-worth. The people I sit with are often in seasons where the ground has shifted underneath them, and what they need is someone steady enough to help them find their footing again.
I came to this work out of a deep conviction that people deserve companionship through the transitions that shape their lives — that no one should have to navigate the hardest parts alone.
